The Ras Laffan Olefins Company (RLOC) facility in Qatar is operated by Q-Chem and owned by Q-Chem II (53%), Qatofin (45%) and Qatar Petroleum (1%).
Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. (Q-Chem) and Qatar Chemical Company II Ltd. (Q-Chem II) are joint ventures between a Chevron Phillips Chemical subsidiary (49%), Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company Q.S.C. (49%) and Qatar Petroleum (2%). Q-Chem commenced operations in 2003, while Q-Chem II began operations in 2010.
