Polyalphaolefins (PAO) Technical Services Manager Ken Hope co-authored a Lube Magazine article titled, “Fuel economy considerations: Effect of lube oils and their volatility.” The piece focuses on the role lubricating oils exert toward the sustainable development of fuel-efficient automobile engines. That includes Hope’s analysis on how the introduction of PAO in low viscosity motor oils may help alleviate the effects of engine wear and tear and oil volatility (evaporation) to achieve a more sustainable engine performance.
