Executive Vice President, Polymers and Specialties
Mitch Eichelberger is executive vice president, polymers and specialties at Chevron Phillips Chemical. He previously served as senior vice president for the department, and held a similar role in corporate planning and technology. Eichelberger also oversees the company’s Qatar operations and the supply chain and procurement organization.
A longtime business leader with close to four decades of diverse experience, he joined Chevron Phillips Chemical at the formation of the joint venture from Chevron Corporation. His past executive assignments include vice president of company operations in Qatar and chief operation officer at Q-Chem, as well as vice president of the specialties business.
Eichelberger also served as general manager for the normal alpha olefins and polyalphaolefins product lines, as well as polyethylene business manager. He also led Chevron Phillips Chemical’s research and technology licensing group.
Prior to the company’s formation in 2000, he held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in sales, product management and business management with Chevron Corporation.
Eichelberger earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
